Books, towels, and toys need a spot that doesn't compete with the room around it. This water hyacinth basket keeps them contained, with a warm, golden texture that settles into a shelf or corner without looking like storage. Each set includes one large and one small basket, so you get two usable sizes in one purchase.
- Handwoven water hyacinth over an iron frame, shape maintained. Each basket is woven by hand over a sturdy iron frame that holds its shape even when fully loaded.
- Built-in handles, part of the weave. Handles are woven directly into the basket, not attached afterward, for a secure lift.
- Versatile storage. Works well for bath towels, toiletries, magazines, games, pet toys, or media.
- Two sizes in one set. Medium: 9¾"L x 9¾"W x 6½"H. Large: 11½"L x 11½"W x 7"H. Size may vary within ¼ inch due to the handmade nature.
Prefer a scalloped edge? The Water Hyacinth Scalloped Baskets share this basket's iron frame and handle style, with a decorative wave-cut rim. For the seagrass version of this set, see our Seagrass Storage Baskets, Set of 2.

Great quality baskets! Superior quality throughout. Strong handles make transport easy. The beautiful natural finish is sustainable and beautiful. Using them in my shelves and they look fantastic!
Ok, these are a nice size. They are pretty sturdy. The only reason I did not give them five stars is because the size of the "reed", "leaf" or whatever the material is called is very thick and rounded. It is about the size of my ring finger so not sure how they will hold up over time. My others are same material and I have had for years and are used to hold all kinds of things BUT reeds are smaller around and much flatter so have not caught on other things when moving them. This set seems to catch on the shelf support board already. I will keep them and hope they hold up for the ten plus years my others have lasted while still looking new.
